Have you ever struggled with managing user licenses or felt lost navigating through a cluttered Confluence workspace? If so, this post would be helpful!
Today, we’re introducing two game-changing apps that will transform the way you use Atlassian products: Flexible User License & Flexible Space Navigation.

When using Atlassian products, users are categorized into two groups. User group includes all users, and license group consists of users who have access to the product.
If your license group is at full capacity and a new user wants access, you would typically need to upgrade to a higher-tier plan, which means additional costs. However, by removing licenses from inactive users, you can free up space in the license group—allowing new users to join without extra expenses.
With Flexible User License, you no longer need to manually manage licenses every time you reach the limit. This saves both time and resources while ensuring optimal license usage.
Key Features of Flexible User License
Flexible User License automatically removes users who haven’t logged in for a long time from the license group.
This ensures that even when the license limit is reached, additional costs are prevented.
Check out the images below to see how it works in Jira for Data Center!

- Auto Remove & Notification: Users who haven’t logged any activity within the specified period are automatically removed from the license group.
- Email notifications: If the number of users in the license group exceeds the predefined limit, an email notification is sent. (For selected notification groups)
- Schedule for Auto Remove & Notification: It adjusts user count and receive notifications based on a predefined schedule.

Additionally, the app provides a dashboard where you can view usage statistics, registered users, configured groups, auto-removal settings, and more—all at a glance!
What you can benefit
- Improve work efficiency by eliminating repetitive manual work
- Reduce costs by managing user license – up to 36%!
Flexible User License is available for Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket. If you need a smarter way to manage Atlassian licenses, give it a try!
Navigating a large Confluence environment can be overwhelming. Flexible Space Navigation helps you find the content you need quickly and keeps your workspace well-organized. If you’ve ever spent too much time searching for information in Confluence, this app is for you.
Key Features of Flexible Space Navigation

Flexible Space Navigation allows you to configure menus for better usability. You can also create submenus to establish a structured hierarchy between spaces.
With simple drag-and-drop, you can easily add, align, or remove menu items. You can also include external links, such as Gmail or Google Calendar, making it easy to navigate outside of Confluence.
In navigation list, you can create and configure new navigations, as well as edit or delete existing ones. If you have multiple navigations, you can activate the one you need for use. Navigations could be set as Default, Active, Inactive, Guest. You can also search for users or groups designated as viewers/editors in the navigation list to display matching entries.
Additionally, you can customize fonts and menu colors to fit your preferences. The built-in preview feature lets you see changes in real time, ensuring a seamless and tailored user experience.

- Enhance productivity by making menus easier to find
- Build tailored work experience
- Improve efficiency when sharing data with team members
