This guide will walk you through installing both tools so you can start using Capture for monday.com immediately – all in under 5 minutes. Step 1 – Install the App in monday.com
First, we will install the app from the monday.com Marketplace
Inside monday.com, open monday Marketplace.
In the search bar, type “Capture for monday.com”.
- Find an app

- Click Install app.
Step 2 – Choose Workspaces
Select All Workspaces to make it available everywhere.
Or choose Specific Workspaces if you want to limit where it’s used.
Click Install.
- If you chose to add Capture to all workspaces, you will then need to select the initial workspace and click the Add App button.
Step 3 – Install the Chrome Extension
Before you can create tasks directly from your browser, you’ll need the extension:
- Go to Chrome Web Store
- Open Chrome Web Store.
- Search for “Capture in Chrome for monday.com”
2. Add to Chrome
- Click the extension name to open its page.
- Press Add to Chrome.

3. Pin the Extension
- Click the puzzle icon in Chrome’s top bar.
- Pin the Snap Send for monday.com icon so it’s always easy to access.
Step 4 – Launch the Extension & Select monday.com
Click the extension icon in your toolbar.
On the welcome screen, choose monday.com (you can also use it with Jira if needed).
Step 5 – Connect the Extension to monday.com
If the Capture for monday.com app is already installed:
Click Connect to monday.com.
If not installed yet:
Click Install app in the extension pop-up – this will take you to monday.com marketplace.

- After that, click the Authorize button to give the requested permissions, including reading boards, workspaces, and profile information, as well as posting updates and other necessary actions for the app to function properly.
Step 6 – You’re All Set!
Once connected, you’ll see the “You’re all set!” confirmation screen.
Now you can:
