What the Platinum Status Represents
The Atlassian Marketplace Partner Program includes three levels — Silver, Gold, and Platinum — each with specific benchmarks related to product quality, customer support, and operational maturity.
Platinum status is the highest level and comes with requirements that go beyond app functionality. To qualify, partners must:
- Participate in Atlassian’s Bug Bounty Program for all public paid cloud apps
- Maintain a SOC 2 Type 2 or ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification
- Provide a third-party-validated Trust Center
- Meet support response time targets, including a <24-hour SLA
- Demonstrate cloud app revenue benchmarks
These criteria are designed to ensure Marketplace apps deliver on security, support, and performance expectations.
Why This Matters
We see this status not as a label but as a responsibility — to meet high standards every day, across every product and process.
Earning and maintaining Platinum status requires steady work behind the scenes: preparing for audits, responding to security reports, reviewing customer support practices, and continuously improving how we operate.
