The Cloud Site Rename feature is a great way to keep your Atlassian cloud sites organized and manageable. It allows you to rename your sites to something more descriptive or memorable, making it easier to find the site you’re looking for and keep track of your different projects.
Several reasons exist for changing the URL used to access Atlassian products. These include:

It’s important to note that there are some limitations to this feature.
- You must have at least one Jira or Confluence product with a Standard, Premium, or Enterprise plan on that site.
- You can’t change to a URL that is already in use or was used previously. Because we redirect the old URL, it won’t be available for another site. You’ll need to choose a new, unique URL.
- You can only change a product URL 3 times.
- The change applies to all products on that site. You can’t change the URL for individual products within the same site.
